She went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2013. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in 2016 and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2018. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Angel P. Mercado MSPAS, PA-C is NCCPA board certified to practice Medicine in the state of Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University. He then graduated and completed his Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant at Stony Brook University School of Health Professions. Angel Mercado began his career as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in a demanding NYC hospital challenged each day to provide quality patient care. During this time he also worked in Cardiology diagnosing and treating patients with various cardiac-related diagnoses. In 2016 Angel Mercado's career shifted into Vascular Medicine, working with a Radiologist where he received training in Lower Extremity Venous Ultrasound Diagnostics, as well as specialized techniques to treat Venous Insufficiency. Angel Mercado has also received training and certificates in Cosmetic treatments including Fillers, Botox, and Cosmetic Sclerotherapy for spider veins.

Aleth started her path to social services at a very young age mentoring girls in foster care when she was a sophomore in high school. She completed a BA in Psychology at Rutgers University and went on to obtain experience in the Social Service field, before obtaining her MSW. Aleth's strongest attribute is her ability to engage even the most resistant clients. Her ability to gain trust and build fast rapport often helps clients feel uplifted, supported, and understood. Aleth specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Anxiety management, and Depression. She is well-versed in chronic pain management, drug and alcohol addiction services, building self-worth, goal-oriented strategies, family systems, sex addictions, and Motivational Interviewing. Her best asset is making a person feel comfortable to share anything without judgement while providing empathy, understanding, and direction.
